Evoland final boss1/7/2023 Overall the game runs smoothly with good transitions through the game style. There are also many complaints about soft locks at different points in the tactical RPG section, I even experienced one myself. ![]() There is also a focus on the Tribe of Menos the Demon and one about Velvet’s research.Īt some points of the game you are probably going to experience some framerate issues. ![]() There are also many subplots that go along with stopping the Great Disaster. The game seems like it’s on thin ice with getting sued, there’s literally an area where Ryu, Bomberman, and Sora are NPCs that you can talk to. The game is also loaded with jokes about other franchises, there a jokes about “a boy in green” smashing pots, weapons and enemies straight from other games, and there’s even a Rule 34 joke mixed in. The characters all have different stances on what they should do next. All of the characters are very unique which makes the conflicts in the dialogue very interesting. Kuro and Fina accidentally travel to the past and future and try to alter their timeline to prevent “The Great Disaster” of their time. The main premise of the game is time travel. Kuro is the main protagonist with the other 3 characters providing him special abilities. It is the journey of Kuro, Fina, Menos, and Velvet. The story of Evoland 2 is actually pretty interesting. From this point on I will only be talking about 2. After some dungeons and a wildly disappointing final boss, you’re ready to move onto Evoland 2. As I said, there are dozens of games represented in Evoland, but in Evoland 1 it’s really just Zelda and Final Fantasy. It introduces the changes in graphics used in the second game but it really just feels like another action adventure with a turn based RPG mechanic pointlessly built in. You’ll probably put about 3 hours into it. I mostly want this review to cover the ladder, so I’ll get everything I want to say about the first game out of the way. The game is actually divided into 2 seperate games, Evoland 1 and Evoland 2. I’ll list a few examples of games it takes inspiration from: Zelda, Final Fantasy, Professor Layton, Bomberman, Bejeweled, Metroid, Mario, Galaga, Jetpack Joyride, Mega Man, Street Fighter, Fire Emblem, Beat Em Ups, and so many more. I said it’s an action adventure, but basically every game genre is represented somewhere in Evoland. Basically, it’s an action adventure game that starts out in Gameboy style graphics and the graphics progressively get better until you reach the modern day. I’m going to assume that most of you have no idea what this game is. I want to do a review of a game that I just finished putting 20 hours into, Evoland Legendary Edition. Wassup Switch Amino, my name is JMac and today I’m doing my first game review.
